Zion welcomed Pastor Ralph Schilber on Sunday, July 24th. Pastor Ralph will be our interim pastor for the near future. He will be conducting all three services on Sunday mornings as well as having office hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and being available to participate in council and board meetings. Pastor Ralph plans to make hospital visits, but needs you to notify the church office when their are hospitalizations. Should there be an emergency, please contact the church office or see the church newsletter for contact information.
We pulled Pastor Ralph out of retirement so he comes to us with a vast background of experience having graduated from Trinity Seminary in 1962 and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1978. He has served five different congregations in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He has served on numerous committees within the synod.
Pastor Ralph and his wife, Pat have been married for 51 years. They have four daughters, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Blessing the 1000th Sweater
The blessing of the 1000th children's sweater that was
crocheted by our Vera S. These are sent to third world
countries. Vera's two daughters are seated beside her.
